OAP is bootstrapped and founder-controlled by design. The intellectual property behind the platform is held by an independent holding company and licensed to the operating business, a structure that keeps the technology and its direction in steady, accountable hands.
We build in long, deliberate iterations: a backend engine perfected against its doctrine, a frontend perfected against the engine, and nothing shipped until it meets the standard. The result is a platform that improves continuously without chasing shortcuts.
Five principles govern everything we build
These aren't slogans. They are the operating rules the platform is engineered to enforce. The moat is the reasoning, not the connectors.
Everything serves the requirement
Nothing exists in a case unless it can state how it relates to the requirement. Anything that can't is kept as raw material, never promoted into analysis.
Understanding precedes collection
The platform interprets and records a clear judgment about what the requirement means before the first query fires.
Cumulative correlation
Every new piece of information is reconciled against everything already known, by a proprietary deterministic method, so the case becomes an ever-tightening web rather than a pile of hits.
Provable over plausible
Confidence is earned from reliability, corroboration, and relevance, scored deterministically. Opinions are allowed, but only labeled, well-reasoned ones, never disguised as fact.
Auditability
Every judgment is written to an inspectable record a reviewer can audit. The system can always answer: why do you believe this?
The standard is the product
Most tools optimize for more: more hits, more sources, more dashboards. We optimize for right: a defensible answer to a real question, with a trail anyone can follow. That discipline is harder to build and impossible to fake, which is exactly why it's worth doing.
